Irish Wolfhound

"Of great size and commanding appearance" the Irish Wolfhound is known as the "gentle giant". They are the largest and tallest of the sight hounds being originally bred for hunting Irish elk and wolves. The Irish Wolfhound does best when human companionship is the core of his daily life. They have a calm, gentle nature, are extremely intelligent, and provide a dignified, responsive presence within a family. Yes, all of our hounds live in the house!
